TradesNothing is first. A shopper and a booker both have to take one extra tap to get where they were going.

Commerce First

Bets onThe mat is the hero, not the studio. Movement Edition 001, colorways and Add to Bag above the fold, like a Nike product page. Sells to people who will never walk into Chicago.

TradesReads as a shop that happens to have a studio. Local members scroll past the product to reach the schedule.

Bets onThe schedule is the homepage. Live grid above the fold, biggest type and tap targets of the five, one tap from open to booked. The direct answer to the three-to-four screens complaint.

TradesLeast atmospheric. A first-time visitor meets a timetable instead of a brand, and the shop and gallery become footnotes.

Bets onAn exhibition site. Wide plates, thin rules, curatorial captions, terracotta as the primary accent. Art leads and movement is programming inside a creative space — the decorate-the-home read.

TradesSomeone who came to book a 6:30am reformer has to understand it's also a Pilates studio. Slowest path to a class.

Radical Minimal

Bets onThe literal Apple-not-Walmart read. One decision per screen, enormous display type, no visible nav until you scroll, one CTA per full-viewport section. The biggest swing and the most opinionated.

TradesDensity. Everything costs a scroll, and browsers who like to scan a page all at once will feel held back.
